§ The Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State, Department of Health and Social Security (Baroness Trumpington)Health and local authorities already provide a wide range of services for disabled people whether or not they are in employment. The Government continue to support programmes to improve the mobility and employment opportunities1062WA of disabled people. Following a review by the Manpower Services Commission in 1983–84, we have supported the commission's commitments to disabled people through recognition that they should receive a high priority in employment and training programmes.
