§ 17. Mr. Michael McNair-Wilsonasked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland what political institutions he is considering to enable the leaders of the political parties in the Province to play a part in its government.
§ Mr. Tom KingMy right hon. Friend the Prime Minister and I made it clear to Unionist leaders on 25 February that the Government wished to talk to the political parties about new arrangements to enable them to play a part in the administration of Northern Ireland. We continue to believe that a widely acceptable devolved government would be the best way of doing so.
