HC Deb 26 February 1986 vol 92 c553W
Mr. Gerald Bowden

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment what representations he has received about the future of the Southwark law project when its urban aid grant expires in 1987.

Mr. John Patten

My right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for the Environment received representations last summer from the hon. Member for Southwark and Bermondsey (Mr. Hughes) and one of his constituents about the future funding of the Southwark law project. They were both informed that it is for the London borough of Southwark to decide how best to replace the urban programme funding when its time expires in 1987.
