Member for Wokingham, as representing the Church Commissioners, 561W if he will place in the Library a copy of any submissions the Church Commissioners made to the House of Bishops' working party on the break-up of clergy marriages and any papers they have subsequently prepared following the publication of the working party's report.
§ Sir William van StraubenzeeThe commissioners did not make formal submissions to the working party, nor have they prepared papers subsequently. As I explained in my answer to the hon. Member on 22 April 1985, representatives of the commissioners attended all the meetings of the working party and offered information and advice as and when required. l have arranged to place in the Library a copy of a note concerning the application of the Church Commissioners' funds prepared by the Church Commissioners official solicitor and submitted by the Third Church Estates Commissioner, a member of the working party.
