§ 27. Mr. Amessasked the Secretary of State for Social Services what representations he has received about the possible removal of maternity and other associated services from Basildon hospital.
§ Mr. WhitneyAs at 14 February we had received 34 representations about various aspects of the proposals for reorganising services in Basildon and Thurrock health authority. These representations followed the issue of a consultation document by the authority. It is not possible to separate those representations which dealt only with those proposals affecting Basildon hospital's maternity or other services.
