§ The Solicitor-General for ScotlandI assume that the question relates to the list to be maintained by the Accountant in Bankruptcy under the Bankruptcy (Scotland) Act 1985 of persons who can be appointed by a sheriff to act as an interim trustee in a sequestration. My right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry has prescribed the qualifications of persons who are eligible to go on that list, but he has no power to prescribe the criteria by reference to which a sheriff may appoint a person from that list to act as an interim trustee in any particular sequestration.
