§ Mr. Sternasked the Secretary of State for Transport if, pursuant to the answer of 3 February, Official Report, column 40, he will publish periodically the results of the Transport Road Research Laboratory monitoring of the road safety schemes referred to in the answer; and with what frequency.
§ Mr. Michael SpicerThese schemes are each being monitored for a period of two years after implementation and a full assessment of their effects will be made at the end of this period. It is intended that these results will be published in TRRL research reports. During the monitoring period, interim reports are being provided to local transportation committees as and when they are requested.
