§ Mr. Kirkwoodasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will list in the Official Report all maternity units for which his approval for closure has been sought, and the dates when he expects to make his decision.
§ Mr. WhitneyAt present there are two proposals with us for decision that concern maternity units in England. Northern regional health authority proposes change of use of Thorpe maternity hospital. Yorkshire regional health authority proposes complete closure of Wharfdale hospital and transfer of services to Leeds infirmary.
We shall let our decisions be known when we have given each proposal our full consideration.
