§ Dr. Hampsonasked the Attorney-General what change he proposes to make to the 1985–86 cash limit for class IX, vote II, Administration of Justice, Northern Ireland.
§ The Attorney-GeneralSubject to parliamentary approval of the necessary Supplementary Estimate, the cash limit for class IX, vote II will be increased by £355,000 from £7,403,000 to £7,758,000. The increase is required for repair costs to certain courthouses in Northern Ireland and for the procurement of alternative accommodation for the legal aid department in Belfast, both of which have been necessary following extensive damage caused by terrorist activity. The increase will be a charge to the Capital Reserve and will not, therefore, add to the planning total of public expenditure.
