Mr. Marlow

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department, pursuant to the answer of 28 January, Official Report, column 486, if the Zimbabwean bird scares is the only foreign national authorised to carry a firearm at Heathrow.

Mr. Hurd

I confirm that he is the only person who holds a firearm certificate in connection with the performance of duties at Heathrow. As a Zimbabwean he is a Commonwealth citizen.
