asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether to their knowledge the United States Administration has raised the purpose of Krasnoyarsk with the Soviet authorities in the Standing Consultative Commission, and if so what response the Soviet authorities have made.

The proceedings of the Standing Consultative Commission are confidential. However, the United States Administration has raised the question of the Krasnoyarsk radar with the Soviet authorities on various occasions. The United States authorities have not received a reply which answers their concerns satisfactorily.
