§ Mr. WaddingtonA number of representations have been received from right hon. and hon. Members and others. Having considered the advice of the independent panel of advisers to which the case was referred in accordance with the procedures described in rule 150 of the immigration rules, my right hon. Friend maintained his decision to deport Mr. Khan on ground of national security. A deportation order was accordingly signed and served on Mr. Khan, together with notification of his right252W of appeal against Pakistan as country of destination. Mr. Khan has now waived that right of appeal and arrangements will be made for his deportation as soon as possible.
