§ Mr. Robert Atkinsasked the Minister for the Arts when he expects the Arts Council to implement the recommendations contained in the Cork report, "Theatre 248W is for All", concerning the earnings from the commercial theatre of artistic directors of Arts Council-subsidised theatres.
§ Mr. LuceI understand that the Arts Council has accepted these recommendations. From now on, new contracts for directors will be expected to contain the provisions proposed in the report for sabbatical leave and for the distribution of earnings from plays transferred to the commercial theatre.
