§ Mr. Douglas HoggThe Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis has told me that he is concerned about difficulties in recruiting and retaining the technical staff who are responsible for running and maintaining certain support systems, including the 999 system. We are urgently looking for a solution to these difficulties.
