§ Mr. LeeIt is not possible to give a precise total figure because of the various bases on which local information is collated. The number of people participating in the following employment measures and training in the Islington, South constituency on 31 October was:

In London and the south-east 4,308 people were participating in the new workers scheme. A further breakdown for these schemes for the Islington, South constituency is available only at disproportionate cost.
