§ Mr. NewtonIn-patient charges in each category of hospital reflect the sum of daily paybed costs for all authorised hospitals within that charging class. Weighting takes account of the actual patterns of use of paybeds in those same hospitals, measured by the sum of occupied paybeds per day.
