asked the Secretary of State for Transport how many possible alternative sites for a motorway service area his Department has considered between Stokenchurch and Barn Hill on the proposed M40 extension.

In searching for a site for a motorway service area on the M40 between Stokenchurch and Barn Hill, the possibilities were reduced to a shortlist of six sites. Ardley was selected.
