§ Mr. LeeAccording to the labour force survey in the spring of 1985, the number of people without jobs and looking for work having left employment at some time within the previous three years with their last job in the construction industry was 23,000 in the west midlands region and 11,000 in the west midlands metropolitan area. Figures for Coventry are not available because of the sampling error that would be involved.
