§ Mr. MellorIn the medium term, there are schemes to provide small numbers of additional places at Her Majesty's detention centre New Hall and Her Majesty's youth custody centres Northallerton and Wetherby. In the longer term the major redevelopment programme at Her Majesty's prison Leeds, including the construction of some 450 new places, will enable us to provide further discrete remand centre accommodation for young offenders.
