Mr. Weetch

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services (1) whether he will list for each of the years 1976 to 1985 the number of dentists who qualified in the United Kingdom and the numbers in these years who subsequently entered the general dental services;

(2) how many dentists during the years 1976 to 1985 entered the United Kingdom by immigration from the EEC, Commonwealth countries and elsewhere; and how many of these entered general dental services;

(3) how many dentists left the general dental services in the years 1976 to 1985 and in relation to the numbers entering the services in these years; and what was the net increase or decrease to the services in each of the years.
