§ The Solicitor-GeneralThe total costs incurred on Mrs. Gillick's behalf by the legal aid fund will not be known until her lawyers' bills have been submitted and taxed in the usual way. However, it is not the practice to disclose the sums involved in individual cases. The costs incurred by the DHSS are a matter for my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Social Services.
