§ Mr. Fryasked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry what arrangements have been made during the negotiations for the entry of Spain into the EEC to ensure that there will be free availability of raw hides and skins within the Community.
§ Mr. ChannonUnder article 42 of the Treaty of Accession, quantitative restrictions on trade between the Community and Spain are to be abolished on 1 January 1986, except where a derogation is specifically provided for. There is no such derogation in relation to raw hides and skins.
