asked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry if he will list the organisations he has consulted about the terms of the Insolvency Bill [Lords] during the summer Adjournment.

The Department has consulted the following organisations:

  2. The Institute of Chartered Accountants in Scotland
  3. The Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland
  4. The Chartered Association of Certified Accountants
  5. The Insolvency Practitioners Association
  6. The Law Society
  7. The Law Society of Scotland
  8. The Committee of London and Scottish Bankers
