§ 14. Mr. Wigleyasked the Secretary of State for Wales what representations he has received from the farming unions and others in Wales during the past three months concerning the effects of the common agricultural policy of the European Economic Community on Wales.
§ Mr. Nicholas EdwardsI closely monitor development in the industry and have frequent meetings with the farming unions and other industry representatives — in the course of which I receive many representations on the operation of the CAP. These are mainly concerned with the dairying and livestock sectors, particularly the problems of fodder supply caused by recent bad weather.
