§ Mr. HeseltineI have not seen the original draft of Sir John Nott's statement of 4 may 1982, but I was of course aware that, as with most statements made to Parliament, it went through a number of drafts. These matters were gone into at great length in the autumn of 1984 and were dealt with in my right hon. Friend the Prime Minister's letters of 8 October and 16 November 1984 to the right hon. Member for Plymouth, Devonport (Dr. Owen). There is nothing more to be said about them.
