§ Mr. John MacKayIn the years 1983, 1984 and 1985 to date, 44, 24 and 30 reports have been received by the Department of Agriculture and Fisheries for Scotland of incidents where poisons or stupefying substances were misused with the intention of killing wildlife, including cats and dogs. Details of 11, 1 and 4 cases have been reported in the respective years to the police by the Department of Agriculture and Fisheries for Scotland. Information on incidents reported to the police by other persons or bodies is not available.
