§ Mr. John PattenThe allocation of funds to individual registered housing co-operatives or their projects is a matter for the Housing Corporation, or local authorities, within the resources available to them. However my Department's urban housing renewal unit is currently examining ways in which we could encourage the greater diversification of housing tenures, through housing co-operatives for example, in order to help to revitalise rundown council estates.
