§ Mr. Wigleyasked the Secretary of State for Wales what is the policy of his Department in relation to the use of the Welsh language for advertising in the local press by jobcentres in Wales.
§ Mr. Wyn RobertsI am informed by the Manpower Services Commission that jobcentres do not normally use paid advertising in the local press but that their policy overall is to use the Welsh language whenever practicable and appropriate in their own and other published material.
