§ Mr. Johnasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (1) in how many instances in each of the past five years payments of hill livestock compensatory allowances have been withheld on conservation grounds;
2) if he plans to amend the hill livestock compensatory allowance scheme to take account of the problems of overgrazing and of consequential damage to semi-natural vegetation.
