§ Mr. Wheelerasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs whether he will publish up-to-date figures held by his Department regarding the number of unpaid parking fines incurred by individual diplomatic missions.
§ Mr. EggarThere has been a welcome reduction following the introduction of the new and stricter policy on 1 May. The figures for the most recent quarter, given below, indicate that the annual rate of fixed penalty notices cancelled on grounds of diplomatic immunity is now running at less than half that for 1984. We wish to see a further reduction.
