§ Mr. WhitneyApproval for major capital developments (those costing over £5 million) is given by the Department. A list of such major hospital schemes(a) approved and (b) completed in the Trent regional health authority in the period 1982 to date is as follows:

Responsibility for hospital developments costing under £5 million is wholly delegated to the regional health 200W authority. If information on these schemes is required, I suggest my hon. Friend contacts the chairman of the Trent regional health authority.
