§ Mr. John MacKayLike many other parts of Scotland, agriculture in the Highlands and Islands was hit hard by the severe weather conditions experienced over the summer months.
It is still too early to predict to what extent the effects of the bad weather will depress farm incomes in the Highlands and Islands.
