§ Mr. Tony Banksasked the Secretary of State for the Environment if, in the light of the London and Metropolitan Government Staff Commission's circular No. 9 issued on 11 October, he will instruct the Historic Buildings and Monuments Commission further to consider designating staff of the Greater London council currently working on historic building functions for transfer to the commission.
