Mr. TonyBanks asked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will provide figures for the number of pensioners who have each received state earnings-related pensions in (a) Brighton area and (b) Newham for each year since 1979; how many on present trends would be expected to benefit from the scheme for each year until the year 2000; and if he will estimate how much on average each beneficiary would expect to obtain from the scheme in additional weekly payments to the year 2000.
