§ Mr. MacfarlaneFrom time to time I receive representations about these and other temporary uses of land permitted by the general development order, and I consider them carefully. However, the Government's general aim is to reduce planning controls, and there would need to be firm evidence that any particular permitted use was causing widespread concern before an amendment to the order could be justified.
