§ Mr. Alan ClarkThe latest available information comes from the 1983 Labour force survey which showed that an estimated 350,000 nationals of member states of the European Community, other than the United Kingdom, were in employment in the United Kingdom. Of these, it is estimated that 130,000 were resident in Greater London and 220,000 elsewhere, but the location of their employment was not identified in the survey.
