§ Mr. Patrick JenkinThe report of the interdepartmental group on simplifying house buying has been published today. Copies have been placed in the Library. I hope that this report will contribute to simpler and cheaper procedures for buying and selling property in this country. The Government will consider this report along with the second report of the conveyancing committee, chaired by Professor Farrand, in consultation with those affected by their recommendations.
