§ Mr. Ashdownasked the Secretary of State for Defence what proportion of the trinitrotoluene used to fill the recent order for 11,000 medium artillery shells, placed with PRB, Belgium, was manufactured or supplied by Poland or any other Warsaw pact country.
§ Mr. ButlerThe shells are being manufactured in Belgium. It is the responsibility of the prime contractor to use materials which meet the technical specification.
