§ Mr. D. E. Thomasasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he will list the non-governmental organisations accredited with observer status at the non-proliferation treaty conference to be held in Geneva through September.
§ Mr. LuceI refer the hon. Member to the reply I gave him on 31 January, in column 274. Non-governmental organisations may attend meetings of the plenary and of 431W the main committees as observers. Those wishing to do so should inform the provisional secretary general of the review conference, who may be found at the United Nations Department for Disarmament Affairs in New York.
§ Mr. D. E. Thomasasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he will publish the conclusion of the preparatory committee meeting on 3 May of the non-proliferation treaty review conference.
§ Mr. LuceThe conclusion of the recent meeting of the preparatory committee for the non-proliferation treaty review conference was that the conference should now start on 27 August 1985 and that there should be three, instead of two, main committees for the performance of its functions.
