§ Mr. WaldegraveThe Government intend to achieve further reductions in national sulphur dioxide and nitrogen oxide emissions, aiming at a reduction of 30 per cent, from 1980 levels by the end of the 1990s, and it has played a prominent role in the Community negotiations which will lead to tighter vehicle emission controls.
