§ Mr. Steelasked the Secretary of State for the Environment what representations he has received about the north-east Hampshire structure plan; and what proportion of these were against the plan.
§ Mr. Patrick JenkinI have received approximately 130 objections and representations from some 60 organisations and individuals on proposals for alterations to the north-east Hampshire structure plan submitted to me by the Hampshire county council. Approximately 120 objections were made to various aspects of the proposed alterations.
§ Mr. Steelasked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will make a statement on the report of the examination in public into the north-east Hampshire structure plan; and when this report and the Secretary of State's comments on it will be made public.
§ Mr. Patrick JenkinI have received the report on the examination in public into proposed alterations to the north-east Hampshire structure plan. Full consideration is being given to all the recommendations in the report. I hope that the report and proposed modifications to the alterations will be published early in June.
