My right hon. Friend and I have received many representations on the specific issues and policies discussed in the White Paper.

§ Mr. Peter BottomleyIt is estimated that about 3 million people working full-time in April 1984 earned less than the equivalent of £100 for a 40-hour week excluding overtime pay. Of these, it is estimated that just over a half were women.
