§ Mr. MellorThe Home Office has received some 60 letters from hon. Members and a number from victims' support schemes and others supporting the recommendations of the Home Affairs Committee concerning the funding of victims' support schemes in its report on compensation and support for victims of crime (HC 43). The Government's reply to the Committee's report was given in a White Paper (Cmnd. 9457) published on 7 March.
