§ Mr. Dalyellasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will make a statement on the progress of the inquiry by Assistant Chief Constable Peter Smith into the case of the late Hilda Murrell.
§ Mr. Giles ShawI understand from the chief constable of West Mercia Constabulary that Mr. Smith's review of the investigation of this case, which he began on 4 March, is continuing. He will report to the chief constable in due course.
