§ Sir Geoffrey HoweThe situation in Central America was last discussed by Ministers in political co-operation at the meeting in Rome on 12 February. It was agreed to send a message of support to the summit meeting of the Contadora Group which will now take place on 21–22 March. A copy of the message has been deposited in the Library of the House. Economic and development cooperation between the Community and Central America was also discussed briefly at the Foreign Affairs Council on 28–29 January.
