§ Mr. John PattenDiscussions with the tobacco industry about replacing the present voluntary advertising agreement, which runs until at least 31 March 1986, have not yet commenced. We have invited representatives of the industry to meet us in the early summer to start the process. We have received representations from the British Medical Association about the voluntary agreements, including the matter of health warnings on cigarette advertisements.
