asked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry what is the United Kingdom's trade balance in agricultural products with Spain and Portugal.

Mr. Fletcher

In 1984 the United Kingdom had a provisional crude trade deficit in agricultural products of 184.4 million with Spain and £1.3 million with Portugal.
