Mr. Donald Stewart

asked the Secretary of State for Defence if he will list the companies currently providing services for the operation and maintenance of the British underwater test and evaluation centre facility at Kyle of Lochalsh which have received financial assistance from the Highlands and Islands Development Board.

From 1 April 1985 services for the operation and maintenance of the BUTEC facility at Kyle of Lachalsh will be provided by RCA Limited, Sunbury on Thames, Middlesex and Bond Helos, Aberdeen. Neither of these companis receives financial assistance from the Highlands and Islands Development Board.
