§ Lord James Douglas-Hamiltonasked the Secretary of State for Scotland, with reference to his reply on 4 February, Official Report, column 428, publishing a table of European Economic Community grants in the Edinburgh area, whether he will give further information on (a) what infrastructure projects are involved and (b) which industrial projects are involved.
§ Mr. YoungerThe table shows commitments from the European regional development fund (ERDF) for infrastructure and industrial projects in the present Edinburgh travel-to-work area during the period 1975–84. ERDF assistance for industrial projects represents a reimbursement to the United Kingdom Government of regional aids to industry.
