§ Mr. Nicholas EdwardsThe Forestry Commission is developing policy proposals for broadleaved woodland in the light of responses to its consultative paper "Broadleaves in Britain". The best and most practical means of safeguarding ancient semi-natural broadleaved woodland is one of the important questions being covered. My right hon. Friends and I expect to be in a position to make a statement by the summer recess.
